CAMP BOUNDARIES AND RULES
- The condition
under which your application for use of the camp is accepted
is that the following rules and procedures are observed:
- Each group
is to be instructed in their responsibilities in respect
to preserving good relationships on Kawau Island.
- No private
property is to be entered without permission of the owner.

- No firearms, airpistols
or rifles are to be used on the island.
- No fireworks of any
sort may be ignited on the island.
- No live trees are
to be felled.
- Only dead trees or
foliage may be used for bivouacs. Any such structures are to be dismantled
and dispersed.
- No dogs to be brought
to camp.
- Please report immediately
and damage of equipment or camp property to camp manager.
BOAT
RULES & CONDITIONS OF USE
- Buoyancy aids must
be worn at all times.
- Children must be under
adult supervision.
- Boats must be lifted,
not dragged, into and from the water.
- Do not leave sails
up if the boat is unattended and if conditions could cause damage.
- Yachts to be derigged
& stored each evening.
- Groups bringing runabouts
must comply with the New Zealand Marine Regulations.
